Meet your Guide
My name is Marshall Smith and I’m 27 years old. I moved to Mammoth Lakes in 2015 to pursue my love for snowboarding, however fell in love with the broader Eastern Sierra region and its beauty. I grew up in Los Angeles and had never been surrounded by so many freshwater fishing opportunities. In need of a summertime hobby, I decided to start fishing and I’ve dedicated all of my time towards it ever since. Learning to fish the Eastern Sierras is such a fun challenge and rewarding experience that I’m excited to share with you on the water!
My goal in Feathers to Fish is to offer a wide variety of fishing opportunities to a wide variety of anglers to fit their interests. Upon booking a trip, expect to hear from me on what styles of fishing have been productive, or to see if there’s a specific type of fishing you’re interested in. I look forward to providing the next step in your fly fishing journey.
